Tells the story: On April 20, 2010, the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. This caused a massive fireball that killed several crew members. Chief electronics technician Mike Williams (Mark Wahlberg) and his colleagues find themselves fighting for their survival as heat and flames intensify and flood. Coworkers must use their wits to survive in the midst of all the chaos.
